If you want to make money, you need to say the words: I want to succeed. That’s the first step. If you tell yourself that you want it, you’ve gotten past the first obstacle. Most people might think they want it, but they never really tell themselves that they do. By telling yourself that you want it, you make it a reality. Once something is a reality, it becomes a bit easier to achieve.

The next step is to create a battle plan to make that money. I don’t mean a business plan. I mean what you want to gain from having that money. For instance, I have used things such as: “I want to be able to afford to get a nicer car. I want a new guitar. I want to get my own place with my girlfriend.” Write them down and look at them when you feel yourself getting discouraged.

Finally…Actually DO it. I can’t tell you the number of people that read and read these blogs and then never do anything that we say. Especially on this blog, we intend on giving away ways that we have tried to make money with and have succeeded with. You need to actually do what you learn. Reading blogs won’t make you money; it’ll give you the knowledge to make money, but you need to act.

So What Do I Do?

You may be asking yourself that and that’s fine. Sit down and just think. Figure out what you want and then get to it. Whether you’re looking to make money online or offline, with a website or by domaining, buying stock or investing in an IRA, if you are want it, you need to figure out what exactly you want to gain from it. It’s not the hardest thing in the world, but you need to want it. Don’t just read. Act.
